Clint graduated from high school at Sudan and has a degree in Agricultural Education from Texas Tech University. He grew up on a family farm and has been actively engaged in farming and ranching since graduating from Tech. Besides being involved in production agriculture Clint has had jobs in the support side of agriculture as well. He has worked as plant manager and field man for Crosbyton Seed Co. soon after graduating from Tech, for the USDA Soil Conservation Service as a technician , was executive Vice President and Board Member of Citizens Bank in Knox City/Abilene and ranched full time . Clint has also been involved in Knox County by being on the Knox County Hospital Board serving several years as President of the Board. He has also been on the Board of The Knox County Rural Water Supply Corp. which was started to obtain a rural water line for farms and ranches in Knox and King Counties. He has been involved with Lions Club and served as President of the Administrative Council of the First United Methodist Church of Knox City.
